This team is full of the same kinds of players with a couple of
specialy ones like, Webb. They have the same makeup as the other three
WS teams.
Great year but I don't have higher expectations of the playoffs than I
had going into the season.
I think the year surprised even Zaidi, because he had great seasons from
many players that are not in his long-range plans, specifically Posey,
Crawford and Belt, who is not signed for next year.
But the top prospects in the org is a shortstop and a catcher.
So we're playing with a lot of house money.
They can do it, just like they did during the regular season. Now
they know what they can expect from each player, because they've
prroven themselves, time and time again.
Both of the prospects madee appearances early in 2021, but were sent
back down. Comparatively, neither them outplayed their veterans and
Bart tailed off after a while, and didn't handle the pitchers
particulary well.
If there's a way, they'll probably re-sign Posey. Belt might be
another story. In Logan Webb, they've got the base for a new pitching
rotatiion of veterans and rookies. He wanted to pitch the big game and
the Giants gave it to him.
