Well Cueto is shitting the bed today.
Hope this is his contract year.
That was rough and I don't think he's done all that well, except for
one game and he ended up injured. The stuff he was throwing had no
life in it, it looked like batting practice.

No bullpen, they even used Ruf as a reliever and the defense was
atrocious. I thought is was laughable when Kapler defended Alvarez the
last time he imploded, saying that he didn't have much experience. was
new. They gave him one inning and he did well. So in he comes today
and he implodes again.

Yaz seems to be coming out of his slump, but the averages are lousy
outside of Buste, Longoria and Duggar.

Yeah it's like .228 as a team.

That means the pitching has been doing well.


But it's not sustainable to keep winning at current rate without the
hitting improving a lot.

Though I guess they've hit a good number of timely HRs but again, not
sustainable.
