Harrison 'electric' with 11 K's in home debut

The 11 K's came in only 6.1 innings.

That gives the Giants two excellent starters for the first time in quite a while. If they can pick up some healthy free agents, they could be a force to be reckoned with in 2024.

But not sure why he was struggling in the minors with control.

Also, a lot of pitchers do well the first couple of outings and then the
scouting by opposing teams start to have an effect.

They say he still needs to master an offspeed pitch.

He throws a lot of pitches. I think he was up in the low 90's when they pulled him, but he brought a lot of energy to the game. If they can refine his delivery he could go a lot further in his games. Following Harrison's first game, Cobb threw a complete game, very much a rarity for Giants' pitchers.
