Looks like the outfield might be just as crowded as the infield if he
signs. Here's the caveat!

"It is fair to worry about his career batting average of .230,
especially after he slashed .190/.285/.397 during the 2020 season, but
he did post a career-high average of .249 in 2019."

Personally, it's hard to see why they'd sign someone with an average
that bad.

Probably shopping a bargain contract, maybe 1 year with incentives.

Yeah his average and slugging numbers will take a hit at AT&T compared
to Dodger stadium.

I don't know what kind of outfielder he is, or what his arm is like.

He is from the Bay Area so he may want to stay close to home.

He has a career BA of .230 and he couldn't even achieve that last
year. Even as a "bargain" signing, he's have to produce and he hasn't
been doing that. If his average suffers, so much the worse for the
Giants.
