Wayne,

You shouldn't try to post binaries, including photos, to a non-binaries
newsgroup like alt.sports.baseball.sf-giants. It's very bad form.

Try posting your photos to a binary newsgroup like
alt.binaries.pictures.sports then post a message here with a link to the
binaries newsgroup.

I use Imageshack. Follow these instructions, it's pretty easy.
1. Go to http://imageshack.us/ and click the Browse button.
2. Browse and select the file on your hard drive that you want to host.
3. Click "Host it!".
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and copy the "Direct Link to
Image". Don't get any of the ones with html or forum BBcodes, they either
won't work on usenet or will piss off people who don't use html.
5. Paste the link into your post.
6. Done.

There are other free hosting sites out there, too. Google "free image
hosting" to find them. (Disclaimer: I am in no way associated with
Imageshack, I just use it.)
